VEEDERSBURG — Mrs. Lillie Hancock, 85, died at the home of her son, Frank Hancock, at 8:45 p.m. Saturday. She had been ill the past two years. She was born July 8, 1879, in Pennsylvania to William and Sarah Wolfe Kunkle. She married Frank Hancock. He preceded her in death as did a daughter, Eva, and a son, Floyd. She is survived by five sons, Charles, George, Frank and Lamoin, all of Stone Bluff, and Lawrence of Brazil; a daughter, Mrs. Christine Booe of Attica; a sister, Mrs. Bell Patterson of Yeddo; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Stone Bluff EUB Church. Rev. Donald Williams of Chesterton will be assisted by Rev. Conley Rowland of Stone Bluff. The body will lie in state an hour preceding the service at the church. There will be visiting at the home of her son Charles. --typed by Walt W
